The starting point for Lena Kunz’s work Touching Peace (2021- ongoing) is her experience with her physically and psychologically abusive parents.

In sensitive portraits, landscape photographs, and still lifes, she works with photographic means on familial healing processes. In interrogating the relationship between the individual and the universal, she explores helplessness and ruptures, and investigates the potential that the relationships can give rise to around us.
